The Idea
comes First

Not the chicken,
not the egg;
the idea comes first.
Trademarked brand names,
print and broadcast campaigns,
city promotions and icons;
all begin with the message.

What People Say

  • George O'Brien - Former Mayor of Melrose, Minnesota

    As the mayor of Melrose, I had the pleasure of working with Katy on a proposal to the City's Park & Recreation Board. Her professionalism and sincerity along with her research and presentation abilities are commendable. Katy is a very competent artist and writer. During her presentation, both personally and in print, I found that Katy is one of those people from whom ideas just flow. She carried the concept into areas that would be inconceivable to most people. It was fun!
  • Sister Ruth Roland, OP —Catholic Eldercare, Northeast Minneapolis

    I often think of your wonderful contribution to Catholic Eldercare when you designed our marketing materials and program for MainStreet Lodge. We are still using the brochures, which were, and are, so creative and arresting. You so consistently featured the theme and spirit of the Lodge in all you planned, including the "moose connection." It seemed your ideas just flowed from the wonderful mind and heart of yours.
